Sin - things we do wrong, bad things we do, no-no's, mistakes, naughty stuff, when we disobey, make bad choices, things we do that make God sad, disobeying, things we shouldn't do, what you know is bad, what you feel bad about, not obeying, if you are being mean to your friends,
ReplyDeletePunishment - get grounded/time-out/spanking/have to stay in room, consequences, penalty, get in trouble, be disciplined, time out
Crucified - died on a cross because that person was in so much trouble, killed, hurt bad and then died, forced death, Jesus got in trouble instead of us,
Savior - forever friend, rescuer, helper, took bad stuff for us, agrees to be in trouble instead of you, took our place, was hurt and killed even though he did nothing wrong, someone who saves you, hero, someone who can give us a better life,
Resurrection - alive again, came back from being dead, didn't stay dead, came back to life, died and was alive again,
Ask Jesus into your heart - follow Jesus, become a Christian, become best friends with Jesus, start a relationship with Jesus, tell Jesus you're sorry and ask him to always be your friend
Lord or Leader of my life - let Jesus show me the right/best way to live, let Jesus help you make the right choices, Jesus helps me do the right things, a guide, have Jesus as the one I follow and obey, someone who will always listen/care/help, powerful, king over everyone,
Ask for forgiveness - say you're sorry, apologize
Forgiveness - not in trouble anymore, don't worry about a bad thing you did, it's ok
Confess - admit you did wrong, tell what you did, tell God what bad thing you have done
Eternal Life - live forever in heaven with Jesus, go to heaven when you die.
